"Staff was very pleasant... The room needs work especially in the shower.. A bit disappointed after the high reviews. Made to order breakfast was same as found on the usual hot bar. I imagine they were trying to cut waste by only cooking what's needed. Plus they wanted a time you were coming, which when I travel, its when I get up and ready.. Didn't care for being on a clock. That and the room barely passing muster, puts this place on my not coming back list.."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Camp McGu! The house was everything that was advertised and more. The owners were thoughtful and proactive with communication. The home was in excellent repair and easy for us to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with all one needs to cook if desired. Bikes, kayaks, paddleboat and a nice dock to just sit and soak up the moment on the lake. Highly recommended!"
