"The hotel position on the beachfront was fantastic. Breakfast and meals looking out at the sea and the surfers you could not beat or the view from the infinity pool. The rooms were well decorated and spacious, with a huge balcony, ours had an elevated sea view which we loved. "Overall our stay at Medewi Bay Retreat was wonderful. Since this was our first trip to Bali, we didn’t have a lot of experience with the different areas of the island, and didn’t realize how remote this area was. We knew Medewi was a very popular surf destination and nearby to Negara, but other than that it is a far more rural/remote area than Kuta, Changgu or Ubud.
