"Very nice place and location"

"This was a perfect property for our family of 6 (4 kids aged 9-15 and two adults)! There was plenty of room and could comfortably sleep even 7. We had a lot of fun with the foosball table, kids had fun with the bunkbeds and we used the kitchen to cook a couple meals. We used this location as a jumping off point for our south Germany excursions. It's about one hour to the Austrian border, about 45 mins to Linderhoff and the Partnachklamm hike. Peissenberg has great grocery options (Edeka) and a good bakery. Communication was great with the owners and access to the property was easy even though we intially arrived late in the day. Highly recommend!"

"Highly recommend to anyone interested in experiencing genuine Bavarian gemütlichkeit in a convenient location near Munich. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable with modern bath fixtures. The food we ate in the gasthaus was fantastic, and if you're lucky enough to eat there on a Sunday you'll love the delicious desserts that are available, to include my favorite German kuchen, bienenstich. The Munchener schnitzel is worth a trip back by itself! The staff at this family-run gasthaus is very friendly, attentive, and are fluent in English for those of us that only speak a smattering of Deutsch. My wife, as well as the other couple we were traveling with, had no previous experience staying in a German gasthaus. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to extend our stay, however, there was no availability of rooms. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Landhotel and Gasthaus Wiedmann!"

"I had a lovely stay here. The hotel was in good condition and the staff were helpful. The roof-top patio and spa area is pleasant. The immediate area is not as lovely. It is set on a fairly busy street with a Getraenkemarkt and gas station directly across - so lighted red signage is a main component of the view from the windows. It is about a 10 minute walk to the lake."
