The stunning view of the river, the clean and modern interior, and the great access to local points of interest made for a wonderful 4 days at Troutwater. "This property is amazing, the lake view is so beautiful, all of the home facing the lake is windows so the view is spectacular from any area. The attention to detail and decor is beautiful inside. The kitchen is awesome with the most preparation for guests we have ever seen in a rental. It is completely stocked with anything you could possibly need on a trip minus the groceries. Cooking meals was a pleasure as well as sitting down to dine looking at the beautiful views from the table....

"Lot of room for 5 couples. Large deck, awesome fans, and shaded lot close to the White River make outside gathering very comfortable even when the temps are high. Large kitchen and pool table complete a very nice main living area. Bedrooms get a little warm at night with the doors closed but nothing terrible. Overall a great place for friends and family. Would stay here again."

"Overall an outstanding property. The cleaning staff was just finishing up when we arrived to check in. They were very pleasant and helpful. This is our 4th time staying here and we are always happy to be there. The house is well stocked with cooking pans, utensils, spices etc...Only negatives were probably not enough trash bags, paper towels, or toilet paper for 8 people staying there and there was no laundry soap to do the towels at check out. That said, we could've called to request...

The back porch is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, eat dinner, and play games all while listening to the river rush by. Very cozy property tucked away on a private road. Host is responsive and provided clear directions for checking in and out. This is the house to stay in to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings."
