"This beautiful best western was such a relief to stay in. They were hospitable and courteous. The staff had just catered to an entire wedding through their weekend and notably regular business and were more than on it for the two of us. They had a very kind bartender who served us and us alone on the Sunday evening. And he was wonderful. Our food was well prepared and the room stay was both quiet and cozy. Thank you for your hospitality. We will surely visit again."

"Very warm welcome, both for us humans and especially the dog (complimentary bed/treats and dog bowl for her use during the stay). Dog welcomed throughout the hotel including main restaurant. Meal at dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Warm, spotlessly clean room, well appointed, close to the bar/restaurant and had a convenient small garden space for the dog's convenience. We'll be coming back. "

"The interiors are well thought out, decorated with quality and often unusual items. I especially loved the Lloyd loom dressing table chair on castors, presumably once an office chair. Really comfortable bed and chairs in the room, lovely toiletries, good tea, coffee and biscuits selection. We were very lucky to have a marina facing room with a little balcony. We had a couple of drinks on room service, all very prompt. The bar area was a lovely area to relax in the evening and the restaurant was busy, bustling and cosy. We didn’t have dinner but did have a lovely breakfast. The staff are fabulous. Discreet, efficient and friendly. Couldn’t fault the service here, some of the best I’ve experienced. We would definitely stay again. "
