"We really enjoyed our stay at Paul's on Lake Elmore! We were celebrating two birthdays in the family over the weekend and the lake house was the perfect relaxing getaway that allowed us to spend quality time together. "This was our fourth time staying at Tom’s house for a winter weekend with a large group of friends (which now includes young kids). We love the location, close to Craftsbury Outdoor Center and Hill Fsrmstead, and that you can have dogs. Kitchen is stocked to cook for a group. And plenty of room for a large group! "The house is absolutely gorgeous and well appointed. However, no local property manager to talk to—all third party texts via Vicasa not VRbo. No internet the entire time we were there. Very frustrating. Signs to recycle but no recycle bins, and an envelope to tip the housekeeping staff was left. WHAT??? Cleaning is part of the cost of the unit—and no one came in to clean while we were there. In all honesty the people with whom I texted to complain were all professional and tried to help us....
