"The hotel was in a great position. Our room had a double aspect and in one view overlooked the harbour and the other view was over towards the estuary of the Seine. The staff were excellent, speaking French at first and when we had trouble, reverting to English. The hotel as a whole was clean and interesting. Becuase of the hotel's age some of the floors were not perfectly horizontal and the tairs were historic!"

"What a delightful hotel. The rooms were modern, stylish, clean as a whistle and well equipped. The building is equally stylish and well maintained. We didn't eat in the dining room as it was very busy but crossed the road to a restaurant clearly popular with the locals where I enjoyed the best Cafe Gourmand of my life, for a very reasonable price. We could only stay for a single night but, if I'm in Normandy again, especially if I arrived off the evening boat into Le Havre, it would be my first choice. "

"Really friendly staff and very helpful..easy walking distance to beach and shops…great for families with pool facilities…got room with balcony at last minute as extended weekend in France after Olympics…def will be back..highly recommend "
