"My wife and I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary, and we had an excellent time there. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the amenities were perfect for a quiet adults only break. My only gripe is that there were not enough sun beds and towels, they should have a rule that if you have not used your bed or towel in an hour you loose the bed as many people would put towels on a bed as early as 7 am and not use the bed until way after lunch. "

"Our 4th time staying in Barbados self catering and found this place was probably the best property all round in our price bracket. It has good location, a lovely pool and plenty of space. Clean and well cared for by property manager. As others have said a car is preferable for which there is off road parking. "We had a wonderful stay at Birdsong! Lorraine was a fantastic host! The apartment was perfect for our family, and close to so many things on Barbados west coast. We enjoyed all the plants and flowers that Lorraine tends, and frequent visits from Bean the cat and daily visits from Elvis the hummingbird were welcome. I definitely recommend Birdsong for its cleanliness and proximity to so many things to do. "
