Only downside is the distance from the beach - although only a 10-15min walk by adults, it’s challenging to walk with small kids on the busy roads which are shared by cars, scooters, motorcycles and pedestrians. "I don’t know why anyone would give this place 5 stars. Staff don’t respect boundaries, personal space, or privacy. Each unit gets a set amount of electricity. If you use up your allotment, then you are SOL like I was on a Sunday night at ~9:40pm. Then instead of electricity, you get a chirping noise every 0.8 seconds that never freaking stops! I left early. Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve had in 20 years of living in Asia. "
