"We were so very pleased with this property. The home is beautiful and was so perfectly set up for 6 couples. The covered porches made great gathering spaces no matter the weather The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The location and views are just perfect! The only suggestion we have is to increase the table seating indoors. We were a party of twelve and the table only seated 8. We have already booked for next year !"

"Pop's beach house felt like a home away from home. The house has lots of interesting decor, and we found ourselves enjoying looking at the curiosities around the house. Having the golf cart to use, plus the beach chairs, was great! Plus, our group enjoyed having three different balconies so that different groups could find their own places to hang out separately. We would stay at Pop's house again."

"We really loved our stay. The home is very spacious clean and comfortable. I really loved the landscape and all the beautiful trees. Sitting out on the back deck you feel like you are in a tropical forest. The back yard is very spacious our Golden Retriever and Cocker Spaniel loved it. My 21 year old son loved the room downstairs having his own space to himself. I would definitely recommend this beautiful property."

"This is a beautiful home with ample space for a large group; we had 12 people. There’s a big kitchen and lots of deck space for lounging; the basement level has ping pong and cornhole games for the kids and there is easy access to the beach. We would highly recommend this home."

"Really enjoyed the historic house and location, quirks and all. Had a couple of appliance gliches that were handled promptly by management. The description for the property listed a dishwasher, but there wasn't one. Disappointed that the boardwalk and dock to the creek wasn't usable. Overall, was a very enjoyable week with family. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning sgain."

"Johnson's Nest is by far the BEST beach location I have had the pleasure to rent. My brother and I spend an end of year week together to regroup and prepare for the new year. Johnson's Nest was an absolute retreat for us during the first week of December 2024. The cleanliness of the home is the first aspect that greets you when you walk through the front door and throughout the 5 bedroom 3 bath home. The kitchen has everything you need with updated stainless steel appliances. Even though it was...

"The property was great. The huge picnic table was great for our shrimp boil and the location was awesome. Another great feature were the beds…..very comfortable. The only thing that we had a problem with was the TV service. We brought a fire stick so we used it in the great room. The other tvs did not have live tv as an option. If they did we could not figure it out. Also , with such a large group, the coffee maker should be better. We would definitely book again."

"The house was beautiful and clean. Thank you for allowing our fur babies to come as well. We had a great Thanksgiving feast but could have used more medium size pots. It went from small to huge. We drove to the beach as it is several blocks away but there is plenty of beach access. Would love to come back when it's hot and able to lay out on the beach. "My husband and I needed a nice getaway . We have been to Pawleys Island several times and always enjoy our visit. Our unit was exactly as listed and the owner was so easy to reach and responded quickly. The unit looks out over the pool, dunes and the ocean. I am going to miss sitting on the balcony drinking my coffee every morning and listening to the waves crashing on the beach. A very short walk to the beach. I highly recommend this unit for your next respite in Pawleys! "
