"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

"What can I say about the most amazing property to stay at new year. Catered for everything, even had a Xmas tree. Had fizzy wine, butter, biscuits, bread, jams. Even had a tour by the owner to where to sit on New Year’s Eve on the hillside over looking western. Shame it was only 2 days. "

"We had a wonderful stay here which far surpassed expectations. Every room in the property was lovely and there was plenty of space for 17 adults. There were plenty of very spacious bathrooms. The large hall was a particular highlight as an event space. The kitchen was small but well equipped enough to feed 17 over the weekend and the dishwasher much appreciated. Would certainly return for a celebration weekend in future."

"11 of us / 3 generations descended on Axbridge to celebrate my mother’s 90th. What a super weekend! Culminating in a wonderful dinner in the formal dining room which was spectacular. We like to cook - and the Kitchen is large and well equipped for big parties. A lovely setting in a lovely village / area. The host was charming and very accommodating. "

"Clevedon is a really lovely, calm, peaceful seaside town--complete with a teashop at the end of the pier, coastal walks, a lido for people who can stand cold water, and lovely pubs and restaurants! We had a great time! The house is beautiful and comfortable! The hosts were really good at communicating when we had a few hiccups. I hope we can come back next summer!"

"Lovely house with lots of room and lots of equipment, crockery etc. comfy beds . Outside seating but never used as weather was somewhat wet and windy, but had a couple of sunny spells to make use of hot tub. Jane was very communicative and an ideal host. Thoroughly recommend,"

"West House is a beautiful wing of a main building. It was spacious and beautifully kept, and a delight to stay in. The weather was appalling (storm Darragh) whilst we were there but it was snug, warm and cosy indoors. Well-equipped, clean, it was the perfect location for a pre-Christmas family get-together."

"Bashford Lodge is a truly fantastic property! The lodge is beautiful throughout - kept to a very high standard with excellent spacious accommodation. The absolute star attraction are the stunning views from the lounge and balcony. The lodge is well positioned as a great base to explore the Quantocks and wider Somerset area. "Came here for a short stay. The bungalow was clean on arrival and all the necessaties of a home away from home facilities were in place (large fridge/freezer), cooker, TV/Wifi, shower etc and worked as expected. The bungalow was very warm and the heating a little hard to work out how to adjust to get it cooler but with the large patio door it wasn't such a problem. The place does look a little dated with some older styled furntiure but it was all comfy and for the price I have no complaints. ...
