"Our second visit to Houmas house was fabulous. We spent the night and had a fabulous dinner at the Carriage House. The food is excellent. The grounds were decorated beautifully for Christmas. It is a great place to spend time with friends. Love it!"

"We had an amazing time. I wanted peace and quiet, and got just that. It was all I needed. The scenery was awesome, and the owners were amazing also. Very friendly and willing to help if I needed anything. A few stores in the area made it really convenient to grab a few items. I am definitely going back sooner than later."

"This place has many amenities and it is very peaceful. They do need to fix some small issues and it’s in need of a deep clean in the pantry. It would be good to provide a stocked kitchen of the essentials such as dishwashing soap, paper towels and minor things like measuring cups. We had a large group of people and the amount of toiletries were insufficient. Several things need to be repaired but overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again."
