"I have travelled to over 40 countries over the past 30 years and have never stayed at a hotel as bad as the OYO on Katy Freeway. The room was damaged, no amenities, the television and refrigerator did not work. The toilet and shower were not cleaned. The property stunk of marijuana and the hotel is definitely a place where illicit activities are tolerated."

"I liked the friendly and accomidating staff. They were real people who were genuinely relatable and caring toward me. I also appreciated the remodeled and spacious rooms. The quality first class mattress gave me an exceptional sleeping experience for all 3 nights. This is not a 5 star hotel but I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS as an excellent place to stay for an affordable price."
