I booked the Superior Room listed as 33 m2 on Expedia. Including the balcony, I think the room was smaller than that. More like 29 m2. if you cut out the corners that protrude into the room then more like 24 m2.
Still, the room was large enough with a balcony with mountain view. If you are looking to wash your clothes in the sink, there's no sink stopper so you can't fill the sink with water.
If you exit the hotel, turn right, you can eat at the hallo patong restaurant, or buy food from 7-eleven/family mart. Keep on walking towards McDonald's and across the street from that there is a night market with grilled meats. Across the street from the hotel, there's a thai restaurant. Exit the hotel, turn left, there is a Chinese restaurant. Keep on walking down a few blocks, there's karaoke bars and clubs for local Thais.
I clogged the toilet and asked for a plunger. They sent an employee up but he gave up after a couple of plunges and offered me a new room. I took the plunger and pushed a couple more times and the toilet flushed. It was a nice gesture to offer me a new room if the toilet didn't work.
