"This is our go to place anytime we are in the area! The staff have always been professional and friendly, happy to help where they can. Simple and quick checkin and checkout routines help keep you on time. Good amenities including a small snack store, plug in parking for extreme cold, clean and friendly lobby area and well appointed rooms. They even have a lovely jar filled with milk bones for our four legged guests. The only small issue we have ever had was this last visit, the jetted tub needed to have the jets descaled and not just cleaned, leaving the water unpleasant. (I imagine from sitting dry for longer periods of time) The tub itself is long, deep, and comfortable for a good range of sizes. There is a good breakfast including eggs, bacon or sausages, muffins, toast, cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit. They also offer nondairy milk options and can provide gluten-free muffins and/or bread items. The bacon and sausages are also gluten free. All of this was offered during a very slow time of year. "We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated property over New Year's! The attention to detail throughout the home is evident, from the high-end appliances to the lovely cutlery and dishware. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning, and we couldn't get enough of them—truly a peaceful and scenic setting. The owner was incredibly responsive, checking in on us daily to ensure everything was perfect. We did run into a minor issue with the temperature being a bit cool, but after messaging, the owner quickly adjusted the thermostat for us, which resolved the issue. Another great touch was the simplified checkout process—unlike other places where you feel like you're doing a whole laundry list of tasks, here we only needed to take out the garbage and start the dishwasher. It made our departure much more relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!"

The host clearly put a lot of thought into the decor, adding special touches that made us feel right at home. Just a short 5-minute walk to the lake, which was perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Our dog Bailey also had an amazing time—being able to bring her along made the weekend even more special. The backyard fire pit was a great bonus for evening relaxation.
