"Our deluxe cabin was so cute and clean, and a very reasonable rate. Would have loved some directions on using the induction stove, but no complaints! Will come again and again.!!"

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (13)
"Only did an overnight but loved it. Well appointed. Very private. My dog (who doesn’t like other dogs- but he’s 20 pounds so not a threat) could roam. Good heat from very effective wood furnace. Responsive host. Comfortable bed and bedding. A couple of little things- but really fun private place "

The Shire Hobbit House and Treehouses
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (8)
"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the shire house with a delightful hobbit theme, and it was an unforgettable experience. The charming short trail leading to the water set a serene backdrop, with the evening chorus of crickets, bull frogs, and toads enhancing the enchanting atmosphere. The fire pit, adorned with glowing elvish writing, was a stunning centerpiece, and the provided firewood made it easy to enjoy a cozy evening by the fire. The ukulele was a delightful touch, and tuning it...

Picturesque studio in bay-front locale just steps to water w/WiFi & kitchenette
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (15)
"We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. The motel is in a pine grove and is lake front. It's "!old school " feel reminds of my childhood. It's clean and quite, but no thrills. Don't expect first class accommodations but if you like the feel of a...
