CASA DE ORO is beautiful vacation rental located on the beach in Esterillos Este. Eseterillos Este is centrally located between Jaco and Manuel Antonio National Park. CASA DE ORO use to be a private residence, so you have the feeling of being in a cozy home during your stay. Casa Oro has spacious living that offers couples, groups, or families plenty of room to entertain. The home has a private pool, 2 spacious covered outdoor patios, backyard with tropical garden, pool rancho for BBQ, second rancho located in front of the house on the beautiful sandy beach. The second rancho is perfect for watching the unforgettable Costa Rica sunsets. Esterillos Este is known for mesmerizing sunsets that leave you breathless with vibrant colors lighting up the sky as the sun disappears below the horizon. Esterillos Este is in a perfect location for people looking to avoid the tourist trap areas. It is centrally located between Manuel Antonio and Jaco. You have everything close by but don’t have the craziness of the tourist trap towns. Esterillos Este is a small town of friendly people that enjoy the simple life of relaxing and surfing. Esterillos is known for being a surfer paradise in Costa Rica that has its fast barrel rolls or the slow friendly wave for beginners.
The Beaches in Esterillos are known to be some of the nicest beaches in Costa Rica. They are often referred to “Blue flag Beaches”, Meaning they are some of the cleanest and most beautiful around. The people who live around Esterillos take great pride in keeping their beach clean. Plus, when walking the beach at sunset, you will most likely have the beach all to yourself.

Amazing experience!!
I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience in Costa Rica. Albert was exceptionally informative, responsive and was willing to put up with our many questions. His knowledge of the local area made navigating the area a breeze. If you’re looking for a quiet, private area to call home while you explore, you can’t beat this location. Quick drives to Jaco and Manuel Antonio national park! You won’t be disappointed with your stay!

BEST PLACE EVER!!!
Casa de Oro is really everything you want and more in a stay. If you find yourself down this way, definitely stay here!! The property is beautiful. The beach front access is amazing— you can even see sloths on your walk out! The pool is wonderful with an outdoor shower to rinse sand off. The house is great and stays cool with AC. Guest house is cute! Albert, Jose, Ranger, and FeFe do everything to make you feel safe and welcome. I’d stay here a million times over again!

Great location
My family enjoyed a week at this beach front house. We got to take long walks on the beach, shore fish, visit nearby Rainmaker forest and Manuel Antonio National Park, and eat in some if the best restaurants around (go to the Don Toro Beach restaurant at sunset).

Fun in the Sun in Este
Wonderful quiet location. The pool and ranchero are awesome, both benefiting from shade in the late afternoon. Comfortable houses and the newish Esterillos Center provides nearby groceries and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Great beach and breezes , fun was had by all!

Spring Break 2023
We spent 8 amazing days at the property. Fantastic access to the beach, and very quiet. Albert and Yorleny are phenomenal hosts. Accessible and knowledgeable of the area and activities. There are quite a few nice places to eat near by, along with a small market. Jaco is 20 minutes away and has everything else you might need. I recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Amazing!
Big house, air conditioned rooms, amazing beach! Owners met us at 1am because GPS wasn’t giving us clear directions. They showed the kids how to cut down coconuts and get the water out! Definitely stay here!

Paradise!
Albert’s home was an incredible slice of paradise. The house was pristine and fully stocked with everything you could need. The pool was perfect and he came and cleaned multiple times throughout our time. The beach across the street was gorgeous and we had it all to ourselves for almost the entire stay. Albert and his wife helped us book tours, gave restaurant recommendations and just made us feel welcome and comfortable the entire trip. We could not recommend this spot more.

Perfect house, perfect location
My family loved this house. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. The pool area was perfect and the 50ft to the beach could not be beat. The beach remained nearly empty for our entire visit. Although it isn’t a swim beach because of rip tides, the sands are soft and. clean. Lastly. Albert and his wife were amazing, helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Amazing Experience
Absolutely loved this house. The town is a little more remote but is still easily accessible to activities, stores and restaurants. While we didn’t use the pool much, the rancho was a big hit. There was always a nice breeze and everyone loves the swings. Albert was always quick to answer the phone and answer any questions that we had. They come to check on the pool daily so the pool was in great shape. We had a sloth right in the trees at the house, which was awesome. We also loved the town center for pizza and grocery shopping. Los Alemendros in Oeste is a great place to eat too. Would definitely stay here again.

Authentic Costa Rica
This place was amazing, specially if you want to be away from the main cities, yet close enough to them. Albert and his wife were very attentive, responded to us promptly and checked-up on us sporadically. The beach area itself is not suitable for swimming. However the long walks during the morning and evenings were great. There was hardly any mosquitoes. It will rain though and the evening storms were a nice show while lounging on the hammock. I recommend it and would go back. Pura Vida.

Absolutely breathtaking - We WILL be back!
I cannot come up with enough accolades for this property - Casa de Oro! It is truly magical, comfortable, beautiful, spectacular, and fantastical. The house was clean, plenty of towels, lots of space indoors and out, beautiful landscaping, crystal clear warm pool, hammocks, beach chairs, spectacular sunsets and sunrises…I have traveled a lot and for me, this is top dog thus far! The kitchen was well stocked…side-by-side fridge, reverse osmosis water from sink and fridge, toaster/microwave/multiple coffee pots. Albert and Yoleny were nice enough to start us off with coffee, filters and sugar for our first morning! We saw White-faced Capuchins, Yellow-throated Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl and Crane Hawk from the yard!!! The beach was loaded with sand dollars, olive shells, coquina and so many other beautiful shells. Because the beach stretches east-west you will enjoy sunrise and sunset on the beach right in front of the house! Propane grill for food prep poolside - go to Playa Hermosa for a pescaderia to pick up your seafood to grill! Great restaurants nearby including Encantada, Don Toro Beach Bar and Los Almendros! Amazing food, relaxed/chill vibe, on the beach! Don Toro even had a sloth in one of the trees overhead! The town center along the highway is a 10-minute drive and has a great little supermarket, Valhalla Danish bakery, a sushi restaurant, and a lot more! Albert and Yoleny came 2x during the week to check the pool! Albert is easy to get ahold of if any issues arise. He explained the house rules/runnings clearly. Coconuts can be harvested and cut open to enjoy! Beautiful beaches with a gentle gradient into the water allowing for a wide, cool sand beach. Very quiet and restful and scenic…I cannot say enough about this spectacular find! This would be suitable for any age group, family or friend groups, families with small children, reunions, destination wedding…you name it! Muchas gracias Yoleny y Alberto!

Pura Vida!
My family had a great stay here at Casa De Oro. Albert was a very good host and made sure we had everything we needed. the house is excellent. each bedroom has air conditioning, which was perfect. the grounds are very well kept and clean. the pool was amazing and clean. the ocean is literally right out the front gate with a covered patio to hang out on. the beach was almost empty and we had miles of it to ourselves and a few others. Yorleni set us up with the adventures we wanted to do and had great local recommendations. Love the local vibe of Esterillos. this Location was fairly central and accessible to Jaco, Manuel Antonio, Quepos, Domical and other locations. Lots of cool wildlife around the house. Plenty of iguanas, geckos, Sloths right out front and all kinds of things! I would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks Albert!!

Paradise Found
The property was extremely clean and very well maintained. It is obvious that hosts Albert and Yorleny take very good care of Casa De Oro. The home was spacious and great for a family gatherings. The setting is picturesque with direct beach access. The beach was almost like a private beach with minimal visitors on most days. The only difficulty we had which was on our part in not having gps and adequate international cell coverage made finding the address a challenge. Albert and his family went above expectations to assure we safely arrived and got settled in when we got lost getting there. Yorleny, Albert’s wife and his daughter acted as a concierge. They planned our outings, as well as to orchestrate taxi rides. In one instance they even drove with us to one of the events to show us the location. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely consider renting this property again.

Great location and great host
This is a great property with a great location and Albert was a great host. We had a group of 13 and there was room for everyone. We had kids from ages 2-15 and 8 adults. With the beach and the pool, there was something for everyone. The location is somewhat remote but you have small restaurants and stores within 10 minutes. The beach was always quiet and the most people we saw was on a Sunday. There may have been 20 people within a half mile of us. Albert was great and was there to greet us on check in and also to see us out. He even brought us fresh fruit one day. Overall great experience if you want something a little away from the tourist traps.

Excellent location perfect for large family/ 2 families
The accommodations we excellent for our two family group (4 adults and 4 kids). The beach is right out the front gate and amazing. W were in a low tourist location but Jaco is ~30 minutes north and other attractions are further south. Two suggestions, bring some beach towels and make sure to get basic cooking ingredients (oil, salt, sugar, etc) at the store in your way in. Thank you Albert and family for making our stay easy. We loved our week in CR.

Traumhafte Lage der Villa, nur 50 m vom Strand entfernt. Pool und sonstige Einrichtungsgegenstände entsprechen vollinhaltlich dem Inserat. Allrad-PKW von Vorteil - auch für eigene kleine Erkundungsfahrten in den Regenwald. Flora und Fauna in der Villenumgebung sensationell. Una agradable estancia
El lugar muy limpio y hermoso, tiene un rancho frente al mar que es un súper plus… pasamos mucho tiempo ahí, los chicos disfrutaron la piscina tiene un tamaño perfecto para grandes y niños, en lo único por lo que debo quejarme fue por el desperfecto del aire acondicionado en la primera planta, ya que fui de las que dormí ahí y si hacía mucho calor en las noches pero solamente eso… nuestra estadía fue súper linda y pasamos un buen rato en familia

Beautiful home
We stayed in three different homes during our month stay in Costa Rica and this one was by far the nicest. Albert has fixed up the property and it is immaculate. The plumbing was great so the bathrooms didn’t smell, which was the case in the other homes we stayed in. There are no sugar ants in the kitchen which was another encounter we had in one of the houses. The pool is pristine and well maintained. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and right by the beach with a lovely rancho to watch the sunset from. We loved this home and if you are looking in this area for a large group (we had 13 people) I would definitely recommend staying here.
