"It’s a lovely old hotel. I’ve driven by a few times and always wondered what it was like inside. It didn’t disappoint! Beautiful old floors and woodwork. Nothing cookie cutter. The bar is gorgeous, but the sound did not penetrate-even with a band playing. Room was clean, plenty of towels and temperature control was quick to change, so very comfortable If you like old buildings this is for you Only one word of caution. You do have to carry your bag up a staircase, so don’t overpack!"

"Room was almost in excellent condition other than dirty and stained carpets. This was important to mention beacuse we had a 1 year old and his legs pjs & socks were so dirty after walking and crawling on the carpet. The pool i went to use at about 8ish and went to the front desk to get help to turn light on & he was so kind and helpful but after a few steps in the pool holding the baby a questionable poop like object in 2 places in the pool immediately left to our room and i washed up,...
