"This charming and cozy cabin was a joy to rent for the weekend! The pine interior was stunning, with an open staircase and vaulted ceiling. The master bed was quite comfortable, extra pillows and blankets were easy to find. The view of the lake was picturesque and did not disappoint. The dock and the wooden boardwalk were well maintained. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit and the indoor fireplace. Dry firewood and other items were provided. We highly recommend this cabin! "

"This property served as a fantastic base camp for our annual trip to the north woods. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. On the first night, we noticed the exterior lights were not working. I contacted the host, and he had them repaired by the next day. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The bonus was the sunsets over the lake. "

"We have been to Minocqua yearly for 10+ years. We love the location of this house, right on the main road by the lake. It is perfect size for us, just two of us. I would say the only thing I would add would be additional pillows (flatter). I also think board games would be a nice additional. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the stay and we’ve stayed a lot of places on the island. Prob one of our favorites to date. "

"Our family needed a little getaway and this was perfect. It was a wonderfully private lake with nobody across the lake except the Bald Eagles! The wooded acreage was a great North Woods experience. The kids (ages 9 & 11) loved the Loft, so they could have their own space! The 2 docks were great fishing off of and there were fish caught regularly. "Totally vintage 1940’s Northern Wisc cottage. Feels like you’re stepping back in time. Loved the screened in front porch. Convenient dock to park your boat. Adequate kitchen and bathroom for the size of the cottage. 2 bedrooms small but functional. We will be back. "
