"The property was wonderfully located with a beautiful view. It was also exceptionally clean and very well renovated. There were a few nice local restaurants/bars which made the stay even nicer. The only item was when I was told that we parked in the wrong place I responded and indicated the home was wonderful. I never heard back - just kind of seemed weird. I like having a personable connection with the owner but didn't necesarily feel that way here. But still a wonderful stay!"

"This was exactly what we were looking for: private, clean, relaxing, and close enough to explore the Madison area. There are lofts in two of the bedrooms. Sleeping in the lofts was a trip highlight for my kids! I recommend air mattresses if you want to use the lofts for sleeping. We had everything we needed for cooking dinner and breakfasts, and plenty of towels and bedding for six people. Highly recommended!"

"The back deck of the house looking over the lake was very peaceful and beautiful. The house was open and spacious with plenty of room in the kitchen to cook and a table for the family to eat at and play games. The steps from the parking area down to the house were challenging. There are a lot of steps and they are a little uneven. The steps inside to the walkout basement are even more challenging. The game room was disappointing. It was stuffy, musty, and damp. "Fished the Madison chain while we stayed here. 20 minutes to the ramp. Plenty of places to eat in neighborhood easy gas stops on easy to ramp. Plenty of room to move around in house for the four of us. Driveway and street parking were available for two bass boats and trucks. Electric hook up was great for charging batteries."
