"The house is located pretty much outside any urban noises which was exactly what we wanted. The setting of the house is very well designed. Plenty of space for sports, games, swimming in the lovely swimming pool. Overall, we had a great time staying there. We'll probably book it again in future. "

"We had a great stay at La Tour Saint Gelin. The gite is ideally situated and is a great base to go and explore the many attractions in the area. We had a great time playing the monument game in Chinon castle ; we also visited the stables of the Cadre Noir in Saumur, the Bioparc in Doue-la-Fontaine and the public gardens in Richelieu. "The hosts for this amazing property are exceptionally helpful with reservations, communications, and suggestions about area. We also had a tour and history of the property. Our house was very well equipped, beds comfortable , baths beautiful. It was very clean, and charming. You are on a wonder bike/walking path, and near a small village for supplies as well as the lovely town of Chinon. We certainly hope to return."
