"Wow I had such an incredible last minute stay here! We were so blessed to find this gem with excellent staff who all spoke perfect English. We had an amazing tasting next door at the winery with Natalie. We felt so cared for by everyone. The dinner was 5 star service and taste. We tried the truffle tasting menu with paired wines from the som, it was out of this world. The room was so beautiful, overlooking the vineyards. I will definitely be back!"

"This lovely home was everything and more than we could have ever expected. The location was spectacular. The house was immaculate. And it was more room than two people could ever use. Easily a place you can enjoy with friends. The hostess could not have been more communicative or easier to reach. Everything was perfect. We cannot wait to return."

"The front door was broken so we could not lock it, which according to the neighbor was 'the only' issue of the house (he was the only contact we were provided with, and did the check in with us). The fridge handle was broken and had a cork as replacement the freezer was broken door was broken too so we had to play with both to close the fridge. No hot water nor towels upon arrival, we had to call the neighbor for help , the towels he gave us were super small, not even hair size. Showers were dirty with hair, and in one of them the water wouldn't drain properly. Electricity stopped a few times we had to fix it ourselves as the neighbor wouldn't answer anymore. The pictures on expedia are nowhere close to what we found. It could be a great rental if basics were met as the house is spacious with large living room, plenty of bedrooms, nice outdoors and utensils for large groups.. we were gutted!"

"Sent by Copilot: Mere Germaine Hotel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, France I recently stayed at the beautiful Mere Germaine Hotel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and I have nothing but great things to say about it. The hotel itself is stunning, with breathtaking views from the terrace. I stayed in a two-story room with a mezzanine and a terrace, which added to the charm and comfort of my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. Breakfasts were a highlight, featuring delicious fresh breads and other tasty options. I also treated myself to a massage and enjoyed some time in the jacuzzi. While the jacuzzi could have been a bit hotter, I didn’t ask the staff to adjust it, so it’s possible they could have made it warmer. Parking was conveniently located about half a block away, but I found that I didn’t need my car much at all. The hotel is within walking distance of several vineyards, where I enjoyed tours and tastings. Additionally, the ruins and numerous restaurants and wine bars are just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Overall, I highly recommend Mere Germaine Hotel for its beautiful setting, excellent service, and convenient location. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Châteauneuf-du-Pape."

"Traveled to Avignon area for niece's wedding. Beautiful Home!! Lovely outdoor area sitting under a magnificent Sycamore tree. Ping pong table, great in ground pool, outdoor table seating . The home is perfect for large groups and so spacious. Highly recommend if traveling to the south of France!"

We loved exploring Chateauneuf-du-Pape and the surrounding towns from this home base, it was always lovely to come home to, and we walked to dinner every night.
