"Clean , quiet & safe "

"Accommodation was clean but bathroom tired. Single beds were actually bunkbeds and not suitable for 3 older ladies travelling together. Getting into property not the easiest either, as code not sent. It had a hostel feel about it. Good position."

"Our GPS had trouble finding this property in the Porto city center. The sign identifying the property is very small, but with 4 of us, we found it. Ricky was very helpful in riding with us to park our car which ended up being quite easy. Our room was adequate with needed amenities. The breakfast room was unique, and we were served breads, cheeses, and fruit; no hot entrees. "

"It's a small hotel. We booked a family suite which has the bedroom upstairs and sitting area downstairs, it's spacious though not quite efficient.The room is very nice and clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom is good too. The only disappointment was we didn't have any towels for the first night, the reception was already closed when we found.We saw ants in our room which would deduct the rating a bit. "We booked this hotel because it was close to a metro station (Trinidad, 5 minutes walk) that went directly to the airport but it turned out to be a little oasis just outside the tourist centre of Porto. There is a lovely garden and conservatory. A kitchen with an honesty bar, snacks and proper recycling bins. The view from the front bedrooms isn't so good but the rear ones overlook the garden. "I had a wonderful stay at Cale Guest House. The location is perfect—so accessible to many of Porto's top sightseeing spots, making it easy to explore the city. The view from my room was exceptional, and the rooftop area added an extra special touch for enjoying the night scenery. The house itself is old but beautiful, filled with character, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.
