"The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....

"Everything was fantastic. The house was in a great location. Close to grocery, restaurants, the marina, and a short golf cart ride to Flamingo Beach. I highly recommend renting golf carts. It was the preferred way of getting around and seeing things going on in the area. We had our family of 13 and it fit all of us very comfortably. Everyone had a private bathroom and the rooms were very big. The house was very clean. We had a couple of evenings with the private chef. She did a...

"Our family had a wonderful stay at Villa Portrero. Everything was perfect!"

"We stayed here for my Wifes 50th and invited some friends and family to stay with us, we had a total of 21 people at the property and still felt like we had plenty of space. The dirt road leading up to the entrance to the property was a little rough, and some of our guests could not comfortably do the walk up and down, I strongly suggest renting a golf cart (Which we did) but it's still pretty rough, even with a cart. The house keepers were amazing and cooked a great breakfast daily! "

"This simple yet modern and stylish home was very comfortable for our small family of 3. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of Playa Guiones and walking distance to Playa Pelada, a clean quiet beach with mellow waves (especially at low tide). The unit’s outdoor shower was our favorite and so were the super comfy beds. The management company was welcoming and very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This place was great. Though Avellanas Beach was a short walk from the property, it felt secluded and remote. I could hear howler monkeys in the trees, which was cool. The house was gated and felt safe and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. I would gladly visit again."

"This is a great property and location, just a few steps to a wonderful beach. The pool is great, and house layout works really well. We were there end of season, and the property could benefit from some basic maintenance, but nothing serious.
