The paint is not that garish in real life, the orange and green will not burn your eyes out, and the surfboards mounted on walls with high ceilings look great. "My husband and I had a perfect 3 night stay. We were the only guests on the property (which has a total of 3 units), so we felt particularly lucky to have the pool and space to ourselves. Plenty of great spots within walking distance, but we spent most of our time lounging by the pool-- which is even better than the photos suggest. Communication was easy, bed was comfortable, and shower was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Pictures are very accurate, the property is mere steps to the beach. Potrero is a great, quieter beach town that has some great food nearby. Excellent coffee, smoothie bowls, and massages are less than 10 minutes walk away. Short drive to Tamarindo if you want more of a party scene or more surfable beaches. "We enjoyed our stay. The communication was excellent and the property was for the most part quite good. There is no easy access to the unit. It is only accessible via a walk across unpaved terrain. Given the amount of rain, we in reality had to deal with wet, slippery grass and slopes with mud. This made it challenging to get luggage to the unit. "Lucio was by far the best host we have ever had, always accessible and full of helpful information. The condo truly had the most awesome views of the coast and sunsets. A large range of restaurants with excellent food and great ambiance were walking distance. The trek back uphill was daunting at the beginning but we quickly got used to it knowing we could always Uber back if we needed to. The condo was clean and well equipped. It is clearly well cared for by its owner."

"The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....
