"We were attracted online to this property by its immaculate presentation and when we got there we certainly weren't disappointed. Fresh, comfortable and well appointed this cottage is perfectly located over looking the Orowaiti Lagoon. There is plenty of bird life right in front of you, pied oyster catchers, stilts and paradise ducks to name a few, the view is always changing. "A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. For a last minute booking, it worked out well and appreciate the good...

"Absolutely stunning setting, the perfect location. The bird life and the waves were all we needed to hear and that’s all we did hear. If you are looking to get away from it all then this is the place."
