"We loved our stay at the Kona Palace. The house is well maintained and beautifully furnished. Rebecca and her husband her very warm and welcoming. The breakfasts prepared by Rebecca each morning are delicious and feature fruits, as well as jams and preservers, all of from their own garden. We were introduced to the "soursop" fruit dueing our stay therem which was very tasty.The terracew where breakfast is served offers a breathtaking view of Kealekekua Bay. This is such a quiet and peaceful area, a real departure from the hustle and bustle of Kailua-Kona. There are a few local restaurants as well as local beaches and snorkeling spots. If you want to truly get away from it all, this is the place! We thorougly enjoyed out stay at Kona Palace and look forward to returning."

"Friendly owners. Great breakfasts. Rural atmosphere. If you would like to be away from hustle and bustle, this may be the place for you. I really enjoyed the private deck area in the mornings. Close to Captain Cook cove and two-step beach. "

"We loved this place and it’s location. The view is great, a quiet safe neighborhood, good water pressure, clean house. The deck was definitely the most used area for our family, listening and watching the waves with birds singing as the sun rises or sets. it was truly amazing. "

"My husband, grown children and their partners stayed here 12 years ago and the “treehouse” has been a sweet memory for all those years. We decided to return here with good friends of ours and it was as breathtaking as we remembered. The views are spectacular with changing lighting from sunrise to sunset. You are able to enjoy Hawaii without the crowds and traffic but you are only a few miles from stores and great snorkeling. The house itself is well maintained and the big timber construction makes for a spacious feel, especially with glass sliding doors wrapping around 2 sides. The owner's suite is huge with an ensuite bathroom and there are 3 smaller bedrooms and a loft that would accommodate a large family. The kitchen and grill with all the essentials make cooking at home convenient. In addition to all this, the owner shares his supply of beach gear with guests, including snorkeling masks, fins, beach chairs, etc. This is a very special place."

"Our stay at the yurt was the best experience we could have hoped for. Lisa and Kai are wonderful hosts, very helpful, responsive and accommodating. The place had breathtaking views at sunrise, and in the night you can see the moon and stars from inside the yurt. Just about everything is provided if you plan on cooking/grilling. I'd 10/10 stay here again or recommend to a friend!"
