"Cabbiavoli was the gathering place for our two week celebration with family and friends for my husband’s retirement. We were within an hour of every place we wanted to visit (Florence, Siena, Piza, Volterra) and even got to do the Cinque Terre hike, albeit a long day but so worth the two hour drive time! "Surrounding is nice but coming to the apartment - disappointment. Spacious place but poorly maintained, grounds as well as bathrooms were not clean. Plenty of dead moskitos covered the walls additionally. Mold in the bathrooms and strange stains. There were doors instead of windows and no fly screens at all. "The Castle and surroundings are stunning. The property is right next to the castle and a short walk to the pool. It had everything we needed for our 3 days whist we explored the cities of Florence, Pisa and Siena, all a short car journey away. Because of the location you definitely needed a car. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Beautiful place."

"We arrived at this hotel and we could not believe our eyes! The building is an old convent/monastery and the rooms have all been modernised with very colourful furniture and decorated in a very unique way! The room and bathroom were quite large and they were very clean and well maintained. There is a nearby terrace on the first floor next to the rooms where you can see Florence in the distance and also the gardens, patio and olive garden that surround the hotel. The breakfast had some hot dishes and also cakes, cereals, hot drinks, croissants and so on. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is a free big parking space. I would definitely reccomend this hotel as it’s in a lovely quiet area, but also not far from the village and Florence."
