Relax and unwind at Limulus Lodge, a beach front home on an acre with panoramic views from every window! ! Our home has many new upgrades to the rustic elegance Limulus Lodge has always had. New kitchen, large screened porch with TV, and bathrooms have all undergone recent renovations! It has a private location, just 3 lots down from Bald Point State Park, a nature preserve that provides miles of white sand with few people! See dolphins, bald eagles deer and other wildlife on a daily basis! Limulus Lodge is well-stocked with everything you need to relax and enjoy!….fishing poles, nets, crab traps, kayaks, bikes, beach toys, chairs, games etc. The main bedroom features a king bed and a day bed, television, a private bath, and opens to the beach front deck. There is a second large bedroom with a king bed, television, and private balcony. The loft has two beds, sleeping up to 4 people. The living space has plenty of seating with a fireplace and smart TV, a dining area, and game table/work space. The new kitchen is fully equipped and has an island with additional seating. The floor to ceiling windows, and tongue and groove pine, post and beam construction and modern amenities, mixed with art and antiques, give the space an historic beach house vibe. The outdoor space features a fire pit, a screened porch (with TV, dining space, chaise lounges, and adjacent outdoor shower) and a large beachside deck with ample seating and dining area. When you are ready to get out and about, the tiki hut at the Alligator Point Marina is a fun stop! There are many top rated waterfront restaurants (many with live music) in the area if you don’t want to cook. If you do want stay home, don’t miss Mineral Springs Seafood in Panacea…our go-to! This area is full of history that made Florida and our country what it is today….many are open to the public. One of our favorites is Wakulla Springs and historic lodge, Floridas largest spring! The multiple light houses, riverways that feed into the gulf (and that create the rich seafood our area has to offer), Florida State University Marine Lab, the Gulf Specimen lab in Panacea, and the World War II Museum in Carrabelle are nearby and great stops! Shop in beach towns like Carrabelle or Apalachicola (my personal favorite because of its historic significance, great shopping and dining). Golf and pickleball are available within 30 minutes. If you are looking for a beach house with teeshirt shops and miniature golf around the corner, Limulus Lodge may not be for you but if getting back to nature in a relaxing environment is what you are looking for….look no further 🤗. Limulus Lodge makes you feel like you have the beach to yourself!!
