This Alligator Point Cottage is located beachfront on the Gulf of Mexico in what’s known as Florida’s Forgotten Coast. While the Forgotten Coast is not as developed as is other Florida Gulf beaches, such as Destin or Panama City, this stretch of Gulf waters has it’s own unique peaceful beauty. Large white sand beaches are accessible directly in front of the home via a private walkway straight to the water.

A Natural for Family Enjoyment:
Alligator Court Cottage is perfect for young families, seniors or just a group of friends looking for a peaceful beach stay. Alligator Point is in an excellent white sand beach and awaits you for sunning, swimming, fishing from shore or just reading a good book.

Perfect spot right on the beach
This little old style cottage was the perfect spot for my aunt and I to have a little getaway at the beach. Since it sits right on the ground, there were few steps to navigate into the house or to go out to the beach and the view couldn't have been more perfect! We loved walking to the beach and down along the water each day. The house is set up so that on each side of the house is a bedroom and bath with a little sitting area. It is the perfect layout for two couples or two friends to enjoy time at the beach together.

A needed peace and getaway
Perfect for us and the pups. Clean. Comfortable beds. Supplies in kitchen were found. Outside patio was great for entertaining the pups and to look out over the water. Peaceful. Perfect.

What a place to visit to make memories of a lifetime. Like seashell? This is your spot. Tiny to large and as many as you can take back with you. Wave were minimal. Great for little ones. During high tide though they got it was perfect for the 5 and up ages. Clean beaches. They even had turtle eggs buried up down the beach. I do recommend visiting on WED-SUN. For that you can hit the small amount of restaurants in the area. They are only open Thursday thur sunday. Get what you need before you get there the Walmart is 40 minutes out. We loved it and will return to the forgotten shores.

This house was perfect for my family! Easy check in process and communication. The house had a wide open kitchen and the 2 living areas were perfect for watching Andy while the kids had cartoons on for the rainy day. Two outside showers were great for rinsing off sand. There were extra towels and sheets. We also enjoyed the screen porch with the kids for evening dinner! Loved staying here, will definitely return.

The view is beautiful and the screen porch is nice and the beach was beautiful. House appeared clean but had roaches, grass was about 15 inches high and couldn't walk path to beach without getting sand spurs in legs. There are no outlets in any of the bathrooms. With a little maintenance and upgrades like adding outlets, getting all the ceiling fans operational, this could be a really nice place to stay. There were also a lot of additional fees that if certain things are not done then you are charged like the dishwasher must be emptied and we arrived with it full. I thought that was what we paid a cleaning fee for. These things should be shown as part of the listing. Owners were very responsive and nice. Taking my 90 year old parents was disappointing they could not walk around the home due to the high grass.

Relaxing Week on the 'Forgotten Coast'
This was 2nd time staying at this Vacation Home and it was simply wonderful! The location can not be beat! We especially enjoyed the direct beach access and spent every morning and evening on the huge screened in porch. We were even treated to dolphins sightings most mornings :) This home is well equipped with everything you may need during your stay. Additionally, the host is exceptional at communicating and responding to messages! If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing beach vacation this is the place! We can't wait to visit again soon!

The thing I liked most was the communication with the owner. Easy to talk to, like we knew each other. House is fully stocked with all essentials. Clean. SHORT walk to a private beach. My kid fished for hours. Will definitely stay again.

Give careful consideration…..
The beach is wonderful!! We saw Dolphin pods (and two newborns) nearly every day. They tend to swim within a few feet off shore. What a treat! The property surrounding the house is not in great shape. There are broken pieces of cement blocks thrown off, broken grills, grills made available for use that were filthy, lots of misc household refuse tossed about on the periphery, landscape not cared for, promised floats/chairs/toys in poor condition. The screened-in porch has torn screens and the furniture on the porch in very poor condition - many broken - and filthy. The house had been cleaned prior to our arrival, however, one of the shower curtain liners had mold growing. One of the bathrooms had a significant amount of black mold growing on the wall surround of the tub and the toilet seat was only attached by one bolt. We didn’t use at all. This house is not setup for renters. There is very limited dedicated space for toiletries, clothing, food and there is significant disorder and disrepair throughout. The description of the property was not accurate. On the positive side of our experience, the contact person of the owners group was responsive to our concerns. Owners issued a refund (minimal) and apologies with an indication that owners will hire a property management company forward.
