This house is really the best when it comes to a beach house. Its cozy but spacious. The walk to the beach is super close and our daughter loves this area! We have come back to this house several times and will continue to!! Thank you for opening your home to our family!
This is an older house but it was clean and served our needs. I love that it is on the beach and just a short walk to the water. I would rent this property again.

Comfortable and relaxing cottage right on the beach
Had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at Alligator Point. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Great location directly on the beach. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. Nice quiet and pet friendly location.
This little old style cottage was the perfect spot for my aunt and I to have a little getaway at the beach. Since it sits right on the ground, there were few steps to navigate into the house or to go out to the beach and the view couldn't have been more perfect! We loved walking to the beach and down along the water each day. The house is set up so that on each side of the house is a bedroom and bath with a little sitting area. It is the perfect layout for two couples or two friends to enjoy time at the beach together.
Perfect for us and the pups. Clean. Comfortable beds. Supplies in kitchen were found. Outside patio was great for entertaining the pups and to look out over the water. Peaceful. Perfect.
Amazing trip! Everything was perfect! This was a mother and five grown daughter's trip. Perfect location right on the beach. Amazing large front porch with awesome views! Communication was very good. Definitely will be booking again very soon!

Best vacation spot ever!!
This place was perfect for the girl'a getaway we had planned. The separate living quarters gave us space but we spent most of our time in the screened in porch in the back of the house or on the beach, which is right there! The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook while we were there. We couldn't have asked for a better place. And the property manager was very nice and accommodating when out plans changed. We are already planning our next trip back!

Perfect family vacation, away from it all
We had a great time at Alligator Point!! The house was the perfect size for our 2 families. The beach and area are beautiful! We enjoyed fishing off the shore, spending time at the beach, and finding shells. We saw dolphins everyday and it was amazing to see them play right in front of us off the shore. We also saw sting rays swimming close to shore, feeding. We visited the gulf shore aquarium and Bald Point State Park, both worth checking out!
This house was perfect for my family! Easy check in process and communication. The house had a wide open kitchen and the 2 living areas were perfect for watching Andy while the kids had cartoons on for the rainy day.
Two outside showers were great for rinsing off sand. There were extra towels and sheets. We also enjoyed the screen porch with the kids for evening dinner! Loved staying here, will definitely return.

Great and quite place for a family
We were family of 4. Sufficient space for all. Clean and well equipped. The beach and the few restaurants around were great.
We saw the owner just for few minutes upon arrival and did not need calling them during our stay.
If you are looking for a place to relax and spend some time with your family this is the place to be.
Will definetelly consider this house in the feature.
What a place to visit to make memories of a lifetime. Like seashell? This is your spot. Tiny to large and as many as you can take back with you. Wave were minimal. Great for little ones. During high tide though they got it was perfect for the 5 and up ages. Clean beaches. They even had turtle eggs buried up down the beach. I do recommend visiting on WED-SUN. For that you can hit the small amount of restaurants in the area. They are only open Thursday thur sunday. Get what you need before you get there the Walmart is 40 minutes out. We loved it and will return to the forgotten shores.

Awesome Vacation House!
Our family had a WONDERFUL time at this vacation house! The house was very well equipped with EVERYTHING that we needed and the location can't be beat! We spent mornings and evenings taking in the views from the screened in porch and spent our days on the beach right outside the front door. There was a ton of wildlife in the area too (starfish, dolphins, seabirds).
We had 2 couples with 3 young kids between us and the layout of the house worked perfect for us. There are 2 master suites (with full bathrooms) and 2 living rooms (both with fold out beds) joined together by a nice open kitchen.
There are not a lot of restaurants or shops in the area, which is kind of the idea. The two places that we chose for dinners out were Angelo's and Posey's. Both were delicious!
All in all, if you're looking for a quiet place to spend some quality time in a beautiful location this is the spot for you. I truly hope that we get the opportunity to visit again soon!

One of the best stays we have had on the gulf.
The selfish side of me hesitates to give a glowing review of our stay, due to being afraid of future availability but I have to be honest as well as unselfish. The owners of this property have taken well care of it as well as given attention to detail. This home is one of the best we have rented in the area. It is a down to earth home with attention given to all the needs one would look for when being away. The view was magnificent, the porch was great for quiet afternoon naps and just plain relaxing. Not sure who liked the porch more, us or our fur baby. We enjoyed the Cordaroy (bean bag style chair) so much that we ended up purchasing one as soon as we got home. The fact that if you share this house with another couple you still have privacy, just pull the huge door going to the kitchen. That is really the only space that would be shared. There is plenty of room. The water is not that far away and while having your morning coffee you can watch the dolphins play. This home is a definite future getaway. Affordable and well kept.

Not what it's cracked up to be!
We rented this property because of all the great reviews, but don't know exactly why the reviews were so wonderful. The place was clean and there were new appliances in the kitchen, but the beds were terrible. Our daughters back was hurting when we left and the one my husband and I slept on was just as bad. It had a tendency to roll in the middle. There is no where to put stuff in either bathroom because the medicine cabinets that were there were full of someone elses stuff and we sure aren't using someone elses toiletries. The dining accomodations are terrible unless you count 2 wooden picnic tables on the porch and outside and some kind of folding table inside with chairs that were awful to sit on and one of them was falling apart. There were 3 tall stools at the bar in the kitchen. If you had the number of people they said they had room for dining you would have been sorely disappointed. The windows were filthy. I realize condensation is hard to keep off, but I am talking lots finger prints and just hardly being able to see out even without the condensation. There is also no where to hang clothes. There are 2 closets but one of them holds a stacked washer and dryer and the other is full of stuff with a rod you can't get to and no hangers. Oh I forgot, we did find 3 hangers but no where to hang anything.------------- This isn't the owners fault, but beware if the people who own the house on the right as you're facing the beach come in. We finally left 3 days early because of the 3 dogs they brought which they left on the screened in porch, most of the time, and barked constantly. They also had a boombox that was loud at times. In the 20 years we have been coming to the Forgotten Coast this is the first time I have written a bad review, but things need to change there.
50 steps to the beach (we measured), beautiful Gulf of Mexico, and all the house accommodations we could ask for at this price.
What else you should know... The closest small food store is 5 miles away. The beach sand is gorgeous. The water is a bit stained due to the nearby Ochlockonee River (might vary with the tide.)
