We stayed just two nights after staying near Manuel Antonio and then La Fortuna so we could visit the Blue Falls and have a short drive back to SJO - and then wished we could stay longer. The home is very well stocked, has several cute sitting areas, and is perfect for bird watchers. We really enjoyed a dinner in that the neighbor prepared for us. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations!"

"This house has the potential to be amazing however, the listing is not an accurate display of how the house is currently maintained. The gardens are all overgrown and there is a swamp in the backyard that is infested with mosquitoes. The house has rotten floors with holes throughout and places where you think you may fall through the floor.Pool area was not as listed. "The house is spacious and airy, and the yard also is large and nicely landscaped. The house sits further back from the road than most houses in Costa Rica, but there is still a lot of road noise for someone coming from the United States. The property manager was pleasant, responsive, and helpful, with a good command of English. We do have some suggestions for improvement: (1) keep more towels in the bathrooms; (2) add towel racks in bathrooms to allow for drying of towels; (3) supply paper...

"Great place in a great location. The views are spectacular. I would stay there again. Hosts were also very responsive and helpful. A knife sharpener would be good to have for the kitchen, as knives were extremely dull; glad I brought my Buck knife. A steamer basket would also be useful for those who prefer to steam the fine produce available."
