"We had an amazing stay. The area and the house are beauriful, with one of the best views in the world. The host ,Sebastio, was super friendly and helpful and made sure that we will have the best experience. Our kids loved the place and we all can't wait to go there again. "

"Fernado & Amelia were very welcoming and had generously left a welcome gift pack. We were given lots of information about services & things to do in the area. The outdoor living space with bbq & outdoor sink and plenty of charcoal together with the pool greatly enhanced our stay in early July. The only downside was there was no airconditioning (our error not noticing when booking) as in the 1st week temperatures were up to 40 degrees but fans were provided. A lovely peaceful setting."

"This is a nice calm place to escape to reconnect with nature and a slower pace of living. There are lots of nature trails to hike. Aveiro and Porto are an hour away, but you have some very unique tourism opportunities about 10 minutes away in S. João da Madeira with their industry tourism and hat and shoe museum!"

"What a very cool place! If you like interesting lodging and nature, you will love this place. It is a bit off the beaten path however, so you'll require a car. Definitely take them up on the offer to stay for dinner. Dona Natalia's home-cooked meals are absolutely delicious (if my Cajun grandmother was Portuguese, she would be Natalia), and a great deal at 15 euros per person, with wine. "

"The continental breakfast was simple but always fresh. Cleaning staff asked every day if anything needed doing. Reception staff always ready to offer advice on where to dine, walk or visit depending on the amount of time we had that day. It’s billed as being ideal for families who want to holiday together but have their own space but this isn’t really the case. There are no facilities downstairs at all, no fridge, bin, kettle for example. So living separately isn’t possible. The pool is a good size and a lovely addition to the property.
