"Our family of five, all adults, had a lovely stay in this Uvita house. The bedrooms were comfy, the kitchen well stocked, and the living area spacious.The setting was just beautiful. We spent much of our time enjoying the sounds and sights of the birds from the dining patio, gazing at the wide open view of the ocean and nearby islands and cooling off in the refreshing pool. The garden was full of tropical flowers and trees.We appreciated the convenience of the location. The towns of Uvita and Ojochal were just minutes away as well as several beaches, restaurants and adventures.The owner, Mark, was extremely helpful and responsive to any of our needs.Our adventures included a boat trip up the Sierpe River to see wildlife, a tour of Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary and snorkeling at Cano Island. We explored several beaches, a waterfall and ate well at several restaurants. In late March we could just walk into any restaurant and be seated immediately, arrange tours on any day and easily park anywhere. How relaxing and hassle free!This was our first time to Costa Rica and we highly recommend Uvita and this wonderful house. Pura Vida!"

"Don’t hesitate, just book this house now and get ready for an incredible Costa Rican adventure. As soon as we booked, we received info and help for organizing our transport and ideas for things we could do during our stay. Throughout our visit Simone was available the entire time to help with any questions and to plan out every single day of our visit. Can’t say enough great things about Simone! Having Ruben as our boat driver and guide for the entire visit was the highlight of our trip. No boring tours in large groups of tourists! Ruben took us kayaking, fishing every day, boating through the mangroves to see monkeys, even on a night hike. We absolutely loved exploring the area with him. And after a day of adventures you can sit at the house watching monkeys or toucans right from the beautiful large decks, relaxing in a hammock or rocking chair while Dolly cooks you a delicious dinner. We also did the horseback riding and snorkeling at Cano island, both also memorable activities. We travelled with our 3 children and it was a family vacation we will never forget. Yes, the walk up the hill to the house is steep, but so worth it to be up in the trees surrounded by nothing but nature and beautiful views. Then when you are ready to explore Ruben is waiting at the bottom of the hill at your private dock to take you wherever you want to go! "

"Wow! This is an amazing place! We loved it! It is very nice and cozy. The “mercadito” is near and we found many places to eat delicious meals! Also, it is very quiet and there is a pool surrounded by nature. "

"This property is amazing! We had eight adults and we were all impressed. The outdoor area is set perfectly for large groups. The views are breathtaking, and the birds that visited were incredible. We had toucans in the yard, and macaws and others fly by. The location is perfect. There aren nice restaurants and groceries very close by. I didn't want to leave. I wish we had booked this for another week. "

"This hotel is charming and lovely with 5 star rooms and dining. The bar had amazing drinks and it would be a very expensive hotel if it wasn’t directly on the highway. The views of the ocean are breathtaking but it’s literally on top of the highway so you hear and smell trucks and ambulances."

"This was a luxury stay from start to finish. The house has a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean overlooking its giant infinity pool (great for laps). You can see from Jaco beach all the way to Panama. The night sky is full of stars with zero light or sound pollution. You will sleep like a baby. The home has filtered water so you can drink from the tap or the ice maker. And the kitchen is fit for the most discriminating chefs and foodies. We didn’t leave the property for the full week. Thank you for such a fun and luxurious stay! "

"One of the most peaceful and beautiful homes we have had the pleasure of staying at. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need at your fingertips. "We loved the place! We had excellent communication from both the owner and the property manager beforehand. The instructions were very clear and understandable. The watermelon and pineapple that were provided were delicious too! The pool was our favorite part of the home and a great way to cool off before bed. The beds were comfortable, the AC in the bedrooms did a great job, and the bathrooms were very nicely appointed. The Coati was by every morning to say hello and we saw a Toucan. The leaf cutter ants in the backyard were fascinating as well. We didn’t spend much time at the house as we had (too) many activities scheduled and were not able to explore the property as we wished. The entry road past the gate did require 4 wheel drive if you stop to lock the gate behind yourself. With momentum, a 2 wheel drive will likely make it up the road just fine. Our only minor complaint is that we found the concrete and cushion couch in the living room very uncomfortable. But that was an only an issue the one night we were home early."
