"This location was exactly what our family needed. The house was beautiful. It had a breathtaking ocean view and the natural wonders of the jungle. We saw toucans, Izzy the resident Iguana and a small tapir. We could hear howler monkeys all around in the mornings. Mark was on the spot communicating with us to make our arrival seamless. Rolando was a huge help checking. The recommendation provided by Mark were very helpful. The beaches are a short drive from the house. We had a relaxing week and look forward to visiting again. "The staff are all wonderful people. They made us feel right at home. The ambience was amazing, we saw and heard a ton of wildlife. The howler monkeys sure do know how to make an entrance. The gazebo by the water was tranquil and I recharged after spending time in the hammock. The food was delicious as breakfast comes with the stay. I totally recommend this place for anyone wanting to be close to things yet feel like you are far away."

" My two grandchildren (ages 11 and 23) and I had an adventure of a lifetime. We felt we were experiencing the real Costa Rica with the horseback ride into the hills, snorkeling off Cano Island with the turtles, viewing humpback whales, picking up sand dollars off the nearby beach, quietly exploring the maze of mangrove swamps, and drinking from a freshly-cut coconut on Jose’s fruit farm. We were able to get by with our very minimal Spanish. After our excursions, it was a delight to return to the house and “chill” while Dolly cooked our exquisite dinners. Everything was fresh and we usually had leftovers for the next day. My area was the upstairs and the kids had the downstairs. Ruben and his wife helped with getting us to places, cleaning, and laundry. Everybody associated with this villa was very kind and you had no worries. My grandchildren still talk about the trip. This region is so lush with flora and fauna. Yes, we saw monkeys and sloths in the nearby area. We highly recommend the Casa Rio Sierpe! It’s more than lodging; it’s an immersive cultural experience. "No words can describe the beauty and peacefulness of this property. The grounds are spectacular and our room was gorgeous overlooking the ocean and sunsets. Upon our arrival we were greeted with refreshing beverages and brought to our room where we saw Toucans and Parrots . In our two day visit we saw monkeys and frogs and lots of butterflies! It was so hard to leave. The entire staff was so kind and friendly and helpful. It was the highlight of our 10day Costa Rican vacation. We will definitely return again. . "
