"This property is very quiet with a good enough distance from the main road to you feel like you are deep in the woods near a lake. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The owners were responsive and easy to communicate with if needed. The amenities and closeness to a town for activities made this a great quick vacation spot. "

"Enjoyed a 70th birthday getaway at the lake. Delightful cabin with slab sawed pecan and walnut tree floors, walls and ceiling. Very comfortable. Was pleasantly surprised we could still handle the very steep loft ladder... Super time to read and enjoy favorite movies. They shared a fun picture album of the family together building the cabin! 👍"

"The cabin is amazing! The property manager is super sweet and has great communication. The cabin was very clean (I clean vacation rentals for a living), pretty decor, great amenities, amazing location and close to shops and restaurants. My favorite part is the cove of trees it's tucked into. It was very peaceful and lovely, I would highly recommend and love to come back."

"We came with family for a wedding in Palestine. This place was clean, quiet and peaceful. The owners own Rump’s BbQ I highly recommend. Her desserts are the BEST! The place has been thoughtfully stocked with items you may have forgotten (toothbrush, razor, first aid kit, shampoo, etc) We would definitely come back if we have a chance."

"This was the best cabin we have stayed at, so roomy, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer are a plus! Pond was great, fire pit although we didnt use it, we saw deer the last morning of our stay. Location was amazing and only 15 min from Palestine!! We will def be back. "
