"This is certainly not the most modern hotel and some areas are in need of minor renovation but it is the perfect place for privacy, peace and quiet and superb service. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who all go the extra mile to make your stay just what you want. The private garden, private pool, outdoor bath and shower as well as indoor bathroom are just superb. Bikes for exploring the local area are provided free of charge. "A blissful, secluded place where my wife and I spent an 8-day Xmas/NYE break and loved every aspect, starting with the amazing staff, then the beautiful room with our own plunge pool and sunbathing spot, then the exquisite food (and I mean every single meal), and finally the more public places to relax whether poolside or on the beach. Capping it off was a delightful NYE party on the beach, with everything on the house. We’ll happily stay again. "

"Thankfully we only stayed here one night. Not sure how this hotel got a 4.0 rating, because it doesn't deserve it. It has the feel of one of those old Florida timeshares that never got updated. The breakfast was less than mediocre and we took one look at the rock beach and moved on. Should have gone with the cheaper option down the beach."
