Bathroom was in demand by the teens for the great shower. There are great wooded walking paths on the extensive property, offering opportunity to encounter quail as well as a surprise sighting of a pair of rosella. "We stayed in the Kauri chalet and really liked it. The view is great. The connecting room, Rata’s view is even better, but that room is much smaller. If you are a bigger group, booking these two rooms together will be perfect. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast on the balcony. The stairs bring the charm to the place and we did not mind the extra steps. Owner/staff are very friendly. PAKnSAVE is only 6 minutes drive away."
