Your casita was newly built in 2011 by an elderly carpenter as an anniversary gift to his wife who battled breast cancer in the later years of their retirement. He built the house from the ground up and dovetailed Spanish and Ohlone Tribal touches to the interior design of the home. His craftmanship is uniquely woven into the house as he spared no expense to build her a Spanish Hacienda that embodies the Spanish trading voyages anchored in the history of Monterey.
The main house entry opens into an exposed beamed great room with vaulted ceilings and hand painted plaster walls. Two comfortable seating areas offer ample room for family and friends to gather for conversation and a glass of wine.
Sinclair Casita has an updated kitchen with new cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, gas range and oven, seashell in-lay counter-tops with a breakfast nook and easy access to the open concept dining area. The house is moderately heated through Radiant Heating under the wooden floorboards that can be controlled by thermostats in each bedroom. Please note that unlike central heating, your home temperature will level at around 67-69 degrees year-round. For this reason, each bedroom is equipped with mini oscillating Dyson heaters for your convenience.
Your casita has (3) three bedrooms and two (2) full bathrooms. The master suite offers guests a new queen bed with luxurious linens and a private bath with complimentary local Carmel Valley lavender bath bombs and citrus Epsom salts to relax any sore muscles from roaming the vineyards to biking down the coast. A towel warmer is placed near the bath for your enjoyment and warmth. French doors from the Master suite lead out to a deck, enclosed back yard and seating area.
Minutes from your house, you can walk across the street into Pebble Beach where you will find numerous walking and hiking trails. If you prefer to drive, Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach is 1.1 miles away with a $10 entrance fee. A twenty-minute walk through the Pebble Beach neighborhood will lead you directly to Spanish Bay beach, a privately owned Pebble Beach gem that overlooks their world renown golf course and waterfront.
The home is equipped with brand new Wi-Fi-enabled washing machine and steam dryer along with a blow-up mattress, extra linens, and a crib upon request. We have 4 portable beach chairs, an umbrella, and a stationary exercise bike to use to help make your stay more enjoyable.
Car Lovers: Your home will be quipped with 24/7 exterior security cameras as well as use of a two-car garage upon request to ensure your automobiles are safe under surveillance. Outside the garage, we have an additional 16-ft trailer parking spot with 2 orange cones in the garage to use for additional markers. The home is positioned leading up to a cul-de-sac with minimal cars and little to no foot traffic. Across from the home is the perimeter gate of Pebble Beach, which eliminates any further traffic from adjacent homes. I have partnered with local mobile car detailers that can offer a 20% discount on their services and can provide further recommendations for any other interests and hobbies for you and your guests.
Your home is walking distance to Trader Joes, Safeway, Starbucks, and Walgreens. I am currently in the Air Force and can provide military discount tips for vets seeking dining or excursions.
