2021 Remodeled Victorian in Excellent Location, Close to Beach and Downtown

Excellent location. 2 minute walk downtown Pacific Grove, 4 minute walk Lovers Point and 2 minute walk child-friendly Caledonia Park. Relatively close to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Downstairs unit of an 1887 Victorian *duplex*.

Living room features a gas fireplace and comfy leather reading chairs. The unit has two bedrooms and comfortably sleeps four. There is also a sofabed in the living room that can sleep 1-2 people. Our City permit allows a maximum of five guests total.

Master bedroom features a California king bed, master bathroom and closet. Junior bedroom has a queen-size bed, bathroom, and small closet. Junior bedroom is very small in size. As mentioned, there is a sofabed in the living room.

The master bathroom has a walk in shower whereas the junior bathroom has a tub/shower.

Kitchen has a new floor and is the only room in the house not recently remodeled (stove and fridge are new, however). Kitchen has basic cookware and coffee is provided for the coffee maker. There is also a blender and toaster.

We remodeled the unit in 2021 and added soundproofing between the floors but it is an 1887 Victorian so it is not noiseless.

Like all other houses in Pacific Grove, the unit does not have air conditioning. Our warmest month is September with a mean high of 73.6F. We do have a high-quality large fan in one of the closets if there is an unseasonably hot day.

We use an electronic door lock so no check-in required.

Other Amenities: Cable television, wireless internet or wifi, private backyard, shared laundry located in side yard between kitchen and garage.

We subscribe to a large selection of cable television channels but do not have direct access to Netflix or Amazon Prime because the second remote caused confusion for some renters. Guests can connect their laptop to the television with an HDMI cable and stream any content from our wifi. We have spare HDMI cables in the cabinet; as backup, a hardware store is a few blocks away and also sells cables.

Beautiful house great location
This house is perfect. Clean, well stocked. Steps away from Lovers Point in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We loved the fireplace. You can walk to plenty of restaurants. Recommend Passionfish, Hops and Fog and Booklovers Cafe they all short walks from the house. Plenty of parking. Easy drive to Big Sur and Carmel. 15 minute walk to Cannery Row.

Lovely location in Pacific Grove.
We had a wonderful time in your quaint little home! It was well equipped and very clean. Had everything we needed for a great stay. Very good lighting, natural and otherwise. Loved the fireplace on a cool night. Used the washer and dryer too! A few recommendations would be to invest in a better sofa, have a few more wine glasses and coffee mugs, other than that all was great.

Pacific Grove Getaway
Perfect place for two couples especially since both bedrooms have a bathroom and are on opposite sides of the house. Quiet neighborhood & easy parking. Very clean! Just a quick walk to downtown. We will definitely be back when visiting Pacific Grove again.

Stayed with my daughter, son-in-law, and 18 month granddaughter. It was perfect for us and felt relaxing and homey. It’s located a short block from the playground which my granddaughter loved and three blocks from the cove at Lovers point and two blocks from restaurants. It was worth every penny. I would stay there again.

Our stay was great!
My family and I had the best visit here, the house was perfect! It was very clean and ready to use. Sandra was so kind and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked. The house had everything we needed and some, it is also super comfortable. We all loved our trip so much, and having this clean home to stay in with our 9 month old made it even better. Perfect Place
The house was ideal set up (2 BR/2Bath) for our trip and was as cute as could be. It is perfectly situated to walk to the beach/Coastal pathway. It is about a 30 minute walk along the shore to the Monterey Aquarium and Cannery Row, which was a perfect way to spend the day. Owners were very responsive and easy to deal with. Great amenities and instructions at the house, and special extras like wine and chocolates for our arrival. We would absolutely stay here again if we came back to the area.

Nicely remodeled unit in a great location
It's in a great location just a couple blocks from Lovers Point and downtown Pacific Grove. It's a very clean and beautifully remodeled downstairs unit. Checking in was seamless, and communication with the host was excellent.
