"This is a stunningly beautiful property set in many acres of land, an estate planted with olive and almond trees together with vineyards. A series of one story buildings in the estate house the rooms/suites. A central building (pictured) houses the reception, a dining room and an area by the pool. Separately in the grounds there’s a lovely al fresco dining area for evenings. It’s situated in the countryside and is about a 20 minute drive to the city of Noto. "

"Amazing hosts, amazing stay! One of the most memorable accommodations during our 2-week trip to Sicily. Rosario, Adriana and Vincenzo work hard to have you experience the finest flavours of Sicily. "We stayed 5 nights at Tenuta Olive Alive and loved it! We used Noto as a bounce off point to visit several towns in the area (Siracusa-Ortigia, Modica, Ragusa Ibla etc). A short drive into Noto itself. Fantastic accom, took advantage of the rain outdoor spaces for some meals, made good use of the pool. Our host, Italo was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. "place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was ! It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room...

"Accueil charmant en anglais. Grande chambre à l'étage donnant sur la cour. Piscine excentrée sympa. Possibilité de diner certains soirs. La propriétaire place les convives par affinités linguistiques ce qui permet des échanges intéressants. Petit bémol : Le ménage de la chambre est réalisé un jour sur deux. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. La mer est à dix kilomètres."

"Food was excellent and beautifully presented. Most of the ingredients were from the farm. The dinners more than met expectations. Each evening meal was delicious, and no dish was repeated during our 3 night stay. From the appetizers to the limoncello, all was wonderful. Everything was served with a friendly smile and explanation. One of us is vegetarian and they happily accommodated. Here you will find a working farm with friendly service, clean accommodations and a wonderful atmosphere."

"I can imagine that this 'hotel' would be pleasant enough in the summer but definitely isn't worth staying for more than 1 or 2 nights in October. It was so far off track that we very nearly didn't bother. The room was nice enough, very rustic in the old cattle shed, the breakfast was basic but adequate and once we knew where it was it was a good base for the surrounding towns."

"It is a small, nicelly decorated accomodation. It is situated right by the sea. From the Veranda you can see very spectacular sunsets. If you like it simple, quiet and natural, this is a nice place to stay at."

Charming Hotel in Old Town Noto

"My sister and I stayed at the Hotel Gagliardi for two nights and were upgraded upon arrival which was a fun surprise! One of the perks of traveling in December! Hotel is older but very clean and charming, with multiple places to hang out (patio, sun room, roof top). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Maria at the front desk is a gem - great restaurant suggestions, very friendly and helpful! She really helped make our stay a great one! "

"This was a great property with lovely rooms, nice staff, good restaurant. Location is ok if you have a car. Great parking with either outside or underground for a small fee. Not close to town so you need a car or transportation to get to town. Not really a walkable location to see anything. But overall a great place to stay while visiting this area. "

"This was a last minute booking for one night at half 3 in the afternoon. What a fantastic find! There wasn't much around at the end of October and based on reviews and us having a car, we went for this. We wish we had had more time but needed a car to be returned to Syracuse by 11 next day :( I cannot say enough positive things about the place, the staff, the welcome, the price including breakfast and aside to the room, the gorgeous garden space and furniture. It was a calm relaxing area. We didn't use the pool being so late in but had a fabulous meal in the hotel with great service and good quality. The breakfast was as good. This hotel deserves to continue doing well as the staff are the best resource. Grazie per tutti x"
