"A quiet stay in an old farm. Rooms nicely renovated. When we arrived at the time we had already advised, no one was there and we could not check in. Tried phone and text but no one answered. After about half an hour the manager arrived. Everything was fine after that but it caused us a bit of stress when we first arrived, especially as we don't speak French."

"We spent a week at this property in early December, 2024. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and feel welcome in their home. The property is in the country with donkeys, chickens, peacock, and goats. Daily breakfast was wonderful. Good access to the RER train station and a couple small local towns with food and markets all within 15 minutes. Rooms are comfortable and it was quiet during our stay. "Ok so if you want a modern unfriendly hotel do not choose here but if you want a beautiful traditional chateau with themed rooms, admittedly some oddities as all old chateaus have but beautiful, and lovely staff with an amazing breakfast this is amazing as is Provins generally. Be advised you do need passable French to make things easier but if you are off to France guys it’s the least you can do!!"

"I never actually got to stay there, granted I didn't see the small print that said I had to ring 24 hours before but when I got to the Apartment block and rang the number provided the person only spoke French and then the call was ended. Attempts were made to ring back but it went to voice mail. In the end I had to book in a Budget Hotel for three nights which was more then adequate"
