"Great place to stay when visiting the coast! Cottage had everything we needed and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Couldn’t have a better location, you can walk right down to the beach or across the street to a super cute market with wine and snacks. Looking forward to coming back with friends! "

"Staff was excellent and helpful - cabin was very clean - appreciated being upgraded to larger cabin at no extra cost to us, due to low occupancy season - the Wifi connection & availability in the cabin was sketchy & intermittent at best, and the toilet needs some work as it was running all the time "

"The house was clean in the most important places, eg bathroom and kitchen. The wall heaters, which were in every room, had a lot of lint and dust in the grates. Yuck. The tops of the base boards were also dirty. House met our expectations in all other ways."

"This place is definitely a rustic cabin. The property is very spacious and well kept. The beds were comfy and it was nice and quiet there. The fireplace is beautiful, but there was no hatchet to make kindling or fire starter. Once you get it going though, it’s very nice. The stairs to the loft are kind of steep, but we managed to get ourselves up and down ok ( we’re not spring chickens anymore 😊). "Multiple safety hazards to include three missing smoke alarms, exposed electrical wire, extremely dirty heater, non-functioning kitchen and bathroom fans. Unit was still very dirty. Kitchen was grimy, floors were so dirty we had to wash our feet to get into bed, sink wouldn’t drain in the kitchen. Overall, would never book again and definitely put a damper on our holiday."

"Our trip started out with our car not starting we went to leave. A neighbor jumped it and we thought it was fine - the battery would recharge during the drive. When we got to the rental and parked, the car died again. I was able to flag down someone who worked for the golf course who said Heather's son had a battery pack. "We enjoyed our stay. It had plenty of room for two adults. Nice kitchen. Rather old, but kept up nicely & clean. Did not have heat in every room, just one heating unit in the living room hall & a portable space heater. Had a hard time heating the whole place up. "Gonna point a few things out that would have made our stay at the Sportsman's cabin that may sound picky, but the following did detract from our stay in their totality. First impressions of the cabin is it is clean and nicely furnished. The leather couch with its recliner function was really comfortable. The cabin is right on the access road to the beach!
