"The cottage overall was fine. Nice kitchen setup. Bathroom was okay but the shower was so small that my 6'2" husband was not able to fit. (Picture the movie Elf and when he outgrew the house.)The mattress was so firm that my husband woke with a sore back each morning. The TV never worked and even though there was internet service, phone service for us didn’t exist. I recommend getting cards or board games. "

Did not have heat in every room, just one heating unit in the living room hall & a portable space heater. Had a hard time heating the whole place up. "Gonna point a few things out that would have made our stay at the Sportsman's cabin that may sound picky, but the following did detract from our stay in their totality. First impressions of the cabin is it is clean and nicely furnished. The leather couch with its recliner function was really comfortable. The cabin is right on the access road to the beach! "Our trip started out with our car not starting we went to leave. A neighbor jumped it and we thought it was fine - the battery would recharge during the drive. When we got to the rental and parked, the car died again. I was able to flag down someone who worked for the golf course who said Heather's son had a battery pack. He let us use it to jump the car and after about 30 min, we were able to get it started with the help of the first employee and two guests - a father and son. They were so very...
