"Great choice to stay in Edinburgh. We had a great stay, but the rooms could use a refresh to make it perfect. Also the beds were not to our liking but as we were staying only one night we didn't both to ask to change the bedding. "

"Loved it! Our room didn't have a washer/dryer, but the hotel offered to do the laundry if we needed it. Otherwise, the room was nice: comfortable bed, good sized bathroom. Not much storage for clothes if you like to unpack for longer stays. But the mini-kitchen was nice to have. The location is brilliant. Most of the tours we did (including a ghost tour and castle tour) meet right across the street at the St. Giles church. It's a very walkable location - near Princess St., Victoria St., the Grassmarket area etc... And the staff was wonderful, very helpful. The food at the restaurant, Lockenbooths was pretty good. Not the best - our breakfast was cold but dinner was good. It's convenient if nothing else. I would definitely stay here again. "
