"We had a wonderful time staying with Ruth and her family on the farm. She was exceptionally accommodating and helpful when we had to make some spontaneous changes to our booking due to travel difficulties. We stayed for almost two weeks and enjoyed spending free time with the dogs (especially the puppy), sheep and horses on the property. "There was a 4 pm check in. Property was not ready and we came back at 4.45 p.m. Rooms had cobwebs. Mouse in the dining room and big fireplaces blew out smoke when lit although we followed the directions. Firewood was for sale and not provided. Bathroom broke. Sofa in the main living room was old and sunk down so we could not use. "Gym" was a few pieces of equipment outside under a carport type structure and was covered by tarp as was the outside furniture. Toilet broke and owner tried to...

"An excellent family weekend to celebrate an 80th birthday. Lovely comfy beds. Good to have two dishwashers. Tumble drier not terribly efficient so a clothes maiden would have been helpful. Overall, a lovely stay."

Lovely log fire and the views from windows were beautiful....fields and horses. Spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. I’m sure we’ll be back. Great location for getting to all the lovely surrounding villages, especially Broadway. Thoroughly recommended."
