"Having been raised in Central Illinois on a farm I felt right at home. The home was beautiful and it was so much fun to read about the history of the home and farm. We even bought some of the popcorn they grew--delicious! The house sat in the middle of a triangle between the 3 homes we were visiting, Perfect location. Thank you for maintaining such a beautiful old home for visitors to enjoy!"

"We loved the house we stayed at. It was beautiful. I'm originally from Illinois and now living in PA. It felt so good to be back "home." And this place was the icing on the cake. We only needed to go get food. Everything else was provided for and much more. We stayed at the cabin on the pond. We saw deer almost every day. It is the very heart of nature and what we wanted. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away and want some peace and quiet and to get away the hustle and bustle of the city. It would make a great hunters cabin as well. Thanks for a great stay!"
