"Me and my wife loved our stay here. We came for the Christmas market and this was the perfect location with just a couple of minuets walk. Our room was amazing and had everything we needed and more, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was beautiful, one of the best breakfasts we've had and having it served in our room was and very nice touch. We'll be visiting again. "

"We have visited this property a couple of times before booking a long weekend stay. I can not speak highly enough of the staff and the food! The room was clean and comfortable, the tiniest issue I had (it’s really small!) is that the bathroom door could not be closed and the fridge in the room would cone on periodically (which for a light sleeper can be a bit of an issue). "Excellent accommodation. The room 'Bigwig' was large, comfortable with a spacious ensuite. Clean and well decorated. The pub did lovely food both day, evening and breakfast. We were made to feel very welome and the service was really good. Would definitely visit again and wish the guys the best of luck in their new endeavour."

"The hosts were friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant was quaint and cosy. The open fire was ablaze as we sat and had our evening meal. The food was superb. Recommend the Duck and Port parfait. We stayed in room number 1 which was a bit noisy from the early hours. I understand that this is an old property (with some modernisation) but I could hear traffic from the road outside, snoring from the room above along with their alarm vibrating at 6.15am.
