"We came in late but had a very warm and nice welcom and good and helpful contact with the owner. The house was complete with everything you need, and for the first evening and morning there also was some food present. We had a stay of only 3 nights, but would have liked to stay longer. "My husband and I and two friends from the States recently spent three wonderful nights at The Old Church on the Isle of Skye. The beautiful old church has been thoughtfully and beautifully restored and renovated into two 3 bedroom units with ample amenities. We were in the Preachers Rest and had beautiful views of the Little Minch Strait. The stunning grounds of the property were immaculate and lovingly cared for. "Aw what a lovely stay we had at the bungalow. Deceptively big and laid out so well for families. Very homely. So equipped to be able to cook and the welcome basket with bread, eggs, butter, milk and weetabix was so welcome as shops aren’t easy to find and have short opening hours! We were in awe of the view and look forward to hopefully returning soon."

"Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. "What a great place Mackenzie 25 is. The house is in a really good location, making getting around the island easy. The house was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds. Louise was very easy to commuincate with (even when she was away herself). The view down onto Gress beach is beautiful. Some good bird watching and we even saw a whale off the coast at Tolsta! We enjoyed the house so much we have already booked to come back, says it all really."
