"The lady at the front desk was so sweet and had such a big heart, and all the staff seemed to really care about people. There is free breakfast and coffee in the morning which was awesome and big rooms with full kitchens for a good price. The only issue I had here was the mildew smell was really strong in the rooms and no ventilation in the bathrooms, I have bad allergies so most of the week i was having a hard time breathing and you could see the mold/mildew growing in the bathroom due to lack...

"The owners have taken an old motel and turned it into beautiful beach style rooms with an excellent location. There are no dirty corners. Go to Sam and Omi’s for food, because it’s the best. The only recommendations I would make is for the owners to provide a plunger because it’s on septic and a flyswatter because it’s by the beach. Thank you! We will be back. "

"Very nice villa,great location. I have one/two complaints. We originally arrived here early but unable to check in till 4 ....so we decided to visit ocacroke this day instead.i had very much been wanting to watch guardians/Yankees playoff game at 8pm...so we rushed our visit at ocacroke to be able to get back in time for game....only to find that while they have 2 TVs in villa,neither has any sort of cable .. Only able to get 3 sketchy local channels on one of the tvs...nothing on other.i texted...

"We checked in on Thursday, September 26; called that night to report 2 tvs not working (and it wasn't wifi), texted about the tvs again on the 27th...never heard from anyone about the tvs. One toilet would not flush, someone finally came about 13 hours before check out. There were ants in the kitchen all around the stove and the glass top on the stove was cracked. We killed 3 spiders (2 WERE IN 2 DIFFERENT BEDS!!). Overall, the house was just not clean; it seems it has been neglected for several...
