"L'endroit est fantastique. Les hôtes sont chaleureux et tellement attentionnés. La vue est spectaculaire. Nous avions deux galeries pour profiter de l'extérieur. Le lit est propre, très grand et confortable. Nous avons bien mangé. L'ambiance du souper, avec le feu de bois et les chandelles, est très féérique. Les déjeuners sont complets. Le seul petit soucis était que la douche avait du mal à s'égoutter. Nous avons été si charmés que souhaitons y retourner. bientôt. "

"It was uniquely terrible. Access was beyond terrible. No vehicular access and a long long steep uphill path of steps and rough concrete. Impossible for anybody with the slightest walking issues. The house is situated in a building site. The garden is a total mess. The pool is unkept. The free public parking is a plain fabrication. The room shower is rough concrete. "We loved the idea of staying in the mountains however, the property did not mention vital information like; there is no transport facilities at all, you have to hire a taxi through their tour company which charges 80€ each way to airport/Marrakesh. "Everything about villa shemsmoon is just perfect. The property is beautiful, the staff are amazing, everything ran so smoothly and seamlessly. We were a group of 30 celebrating my birthday and it really couldn’t be a better place or set up for a birthday celebration. Thank you Layla, Ali, Rachid and Foofana for everything! "It was so much more than we expected. The hosts were so kind and couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy. We loved our time and would book again. The only thing I would note is I'd recommend bringing a hairdryer as there is only one to share at the villa."

"Situated in the foothills of The High Atlas Mountains, with stunning views towards the snow capped Mountains beyond the wonderful manicured lawns and gardens. The hotel is built of local red sandstone and is beautifully laid out. Pool too cold in Jan but looks fabulous. Food on our visit was relatively limited choice; we stayed 1 nightwith a 40 minute drive from Marrakech (local hotel transfer 270 DAM each way) Incredibly beautiful setting - wonderful rest in the warm January sunshine. "

"Brilliant property just outside of Marrakesh, nice clear with great pool and Hammam facilities. Things i like: Properly in general, top notch. Clean and immaculate. Rooms are great. Its not a Resort or a hotel but a Riyad. Some things i missed was a tea kettle in room, i wish i had one. Also if you are planning to make frequent trips to Marrakesh town then its an additional expense. Despite that i would stay on this on ky next trip. "

"Overall, the property is beautiful. The architecture and decor is lovely and I presume authentic to Morocco. The food was fine (really enjoyed the tagine). There needs to be some repair and maintenance done but for what we paid, I have no complaints. The owner was accommodating when we asked to switch rooms. He moved us to a bigger, better room. As it was my birthday, Karim (the concierge) arranged with his boss to decorate the room and supplied a cake too. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are the best aspect of our stay here! Attentive, friendly, accommodating and deserve 5* and more. If you are travelling here, it would be advisable to use your own transport or budget for taxis in and out of the area. It is quite isolated."
