"My husband, son aged 14 and daughter aged 12 stayed at Sigi’s place for 14 nights. The setting is beautiful. The villa itself is simple and very stylish with everything you need. The pool is definitely the best pool we have ever had with the most amazing picture perfect backdrop. The children spent hours in it playing volleyball. Perfect location from which to explore the superb hiking and beautiful villages further into the Alpujarras while also being less than an hour's drive from Granada and the coast. "We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Cortijo Caliz. As a family we love staying in rural Spain and have stayed in many regions and many villas but this has to be the best! The villa itself is spacious, with a bright living area, a well equipped kitchen and huge bedrooms. There were 5 of us most of the time with an additional 2 guests for a couple of nights. We could easily have had more of us without impacting on space. Three bathrooms mean it’s perfect for multiple families staying...

Had to sleep with no sheets as there were not enough of the larger sheets - did not expect to have to make up our own beds though!"
